This page shows historical information on the International Fighter 2016 Conference, held on November 15-17, 2016 in London,
United Kingdom
The new edition of this event will be held on November 5-7, 2024
Tasked with managing the most advanced equipment available to modern forces, the fighter community must deliver the most out of their capability by continually adapting to emerging and existing threats. Fighter aircraft are no longer constrained to a purely kinetic response, these ever-capable and expensive platforms are expected to deliver in non-traditional ISR, EW and C2 roles and ensure the ability to shape a distributed air operations capability in contested airspace.
Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton, former RAF Chief of the Air Staff, is the chairman for this world-leading conference and we join Sir Stephen in inviting capability developers, technical specialists and acquisition staffers from Air Forces and Air Arms to discuss their fighter capabilities and aspirations, along with what this evolution in the use of airpower means for the business behind - and operation of - these platforms.
The conference programme will cover the critical issues and technologies supporting the mission including: 5th Generation capability, F-35 preparedness, advances in munitions, sensor and radar technology, and ground attack. We are already able to confirm a range of exciting international perspectives on these topics, delivered by experts functioning at both the operational and strategic levels.
In further developments to the 2016 programming, we will be introducing new-to-show focus days examining mission planning and LVC training. The mission planning sessions will explore continuing advances in mission support technology and the unique demands of today's operational environment- this is a must-attend for operators, manufacturers and solution providers. We would also encourage commanders and service providers to attend the LVC training day to get the latest on the flight training requirements and programmes that are transforming the way that we think about pilot training.
Driven by interactive elements and unrivalled networking opportunities IFC 2016 will enable you to engage with air force chiefs and other senior personnel in an intimate environment, and to network with the sector's key industry and military leaders during conference breaks, drinks and dinner, helping you to establish opportunities for cooperation with and improvement of your organization going forward.
