  • Supporting SOF and USSOCOM for Maximum Strategic and Competitive Advantage
  • Equipping and Training Marine Raiders for Operations in Increasingly Complex Environments
  • Leveraging Emerging Technologies for Future SOF
  • Elevating the Role of Diplomacy in Information and Irregular Warfare
  • Leveraging Development and Defense to Strengthen Global Security Initiative

Why You Should Attend This Symposium:

This year's SOF Symposium will provide a 'Town Hall' style forum to discuss opportunities and challenges for future SOF operations amidst increasingly complex threats from adversaries. SOF 2021 will explore the modernization and implementation of strategies, policies, education, and training that aim to advance the capabilities of SOF Operators to be culturally, mentally, physically, and technologically adept to counter and deter adversarial malign influences and secure U.S. interests and dominance worldwide.

Leaders from across the military and government will discuss how to expand the utility of SOF an area of Great Power Competition. As adversaries continue to undermine U.S. influence in grey zone operations, the U.S. will increasingly turn toward SOF expertise and global reach to deliver deterrence, maintain counterterrorism efforts, and gain control of the information space.

This year's Symposium will feature a panel to discuss the role and opportunities of emerging technologies such as AI, ML, and big data analytics that aim to automate and advance the capabilities of special operations to counter and deter electronic and cyber threats. Another panel will feature SOF AT&L priorities and strategies to innovate, design, and deliver capabilities faster and more efficiently than adversaries. Join us at this year's Special Operations Forces Symposium to learn and discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the special operation forces community as the DoD, government, IC, industry, and academia work together to enable the SOF Operator with maximum strategic and competitive advantage.

Our team specializes in the extensive research and development of our Symposiums' content and focus areas, and we will assemble the most respected minds in special forces operations as well as key-policy makers across military and civilian offices. Our non-partisan approach allows us to reach across all services and organizations to bring together a truly holistic group of decision makers and solution providers.
