Past event: Qatar Defence Logistics and Support Forum

Facilitating strategy formulation, partnerships and technology advancements for defence logistics and support in Qatar

We are proud to again be selected by the Qatar Armed Forces as the organiser of the 4th annual Qatar Defence Logistics and Support Forum from 24 – 27 November 2014 in Doha, Qatar.

The forum attracts over 120 logistics, procurement and industry professionals annually and is well supported by local and international contingents. This is a forum by the Qatar Armed Forces, organised and facilitated the organiser, as nominated by Major General Nasser Mohammed Al Ali, Assistant Chief of Staff, Logistics of Qatar Armed Forces.

Globally we are witnessing a changing trend in defence logistics and procurement. In times where military need to operate more efficiently, we are seeing an increase in the procurement of services as well as a greater shift towards outsourcing and private sector participation. Added to this is the increased pressure on industry to provide improved logistics and support services to armed forces procuring new assets.

These trends are evident in Qatar and across the region. The Qatar Armed Forces continue to seek opportunities for learning and knowledge share to keep pace with these changing trends, which is marked by their continued support for the Qatar Defence Logistics & Support Forum.
