Bahrain International Defence Exhibition & Conference.
Following the hugely successful inaugural edition of
BIDEC in 2017,
BIDEC will return on 28-30 October 2019 at Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre.
BIDEC is fully supported by the Bahrain Defence Force, and presents a unique opportunity for exhibitors to showcase the latest technology, equipment and hardware across land, sea and air.
WHAT IS BIDEC?

BIDEC Off-Site Activities
BIDEC provides an international stage to view ground-breaking technology and strategies. The event showcases some unique Off-Site Activities, held across different locations in Bahrain, such as:
- Parachute Demonstrations - Companies showcase their latest parachute systems in a pioneering display with the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF). Visitors with the appropriate military free-fall license will be given the opportunity to trial these products.
- Shooting Demonstrations - Military personnel have the chance to test new firearms and ammunition on an indoor and outdoor shooting range.
- Sniper & Night-Vision Demonstrations - Military personnel have the chance to test new night-vision equipment, firearms and ammunition on a long-range shooting range in Bahrain Defence Force grounds.
- Warship Display - VIP's and visitors will have the opportunity to examine today's most technologically advanced warships and naval fleets at Mina Salman Port.
- Military Vehicle Demonstrations - Manufacturers will demonstrate the latest cutting edge military vehicle capabilities on a specially designed course at Bahrain

Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre (BIECC) - Manama, Bahrain. BIECC is on the north side of Avenue 28, south of the Sheikh Khalifa Bin Salman Highway. The venue has 14,000 square meters of column-free exhibition space and 1,400 square meters of function space. It is able to hold approximately 5,000 delegates and up to 30,000 visitors each day. There is car parking for 800 cars.
It is Bahrain's largest exhibition and convention facility and operated by Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority (BTEA). Functioning under the Ministry or Industry & Commerce, BTEA is governed by His Excellency Zayed Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Industry, Commerce & Tourism as Chairman of the Board.
